Many individuals meditate today for its mental and physical health advantages, not for spiritual or religious reasons. Meditation has been demonstrated to decrease stress, increase attention, lower blood pressure, and improve heart health.

Meditation may have started in a religious environment, but many people worldwide practice it secularly. Many hospitals, schools, and organizations provide meditation as part of their wellness programs. I don’t know what does if that doesn’t stand as evidence!

Meditation is just concentrating on your breath, a mantra, or an object and letting your thoughts pass without judgment. It requires no equipment or gear and may be done anywhere.

In 2023, meditation has moved beyond religion. Don’t allow preconceptions to stop you from attempting meditation. Try it to enhance your mental and physical health.
